This series is the principal accumulation of thematic maps relating to operations. The maps and plans in this series relate to the theatres of war and the Armies of Occupation. The series includes a large number of trench maps with manuscript annotations. There are also some charts, graphs and pamphlets. There are photographs, sketches and accompanying maps which relate to the Western Front in WO 153/1268-1275 and the Salonika campaign in WO 153/1344-1346. Many of the maps were extracted from the war diaries in WO 95. |
