John Cousens, Deptford. Is appointed Surgeon's Mate of the Bonetta sloop at Woolwich by a warrant. He went there on the 8th April and stayed until 26th May, when he received a warrant for Surgeon of the Thunder Bomb. When he applied for his pay lists, the Clerk of the Cheque informed him he could only make them out from the 1st May, when she was commissioned, though the Captain's commission is dated 3rd April. Asks for orders to be paid for the full time. |
