Folio 47. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, acknowledging the receipt of his letter seeking approval of the bye laws which had been adopted by the board of guardians of Bromsgrove. Having carefully considered them, the Commissioners doubt the legality of article 4 of the bye laws and would suggest omitting articles 9 and 10.
