High Court of Admiralty.

Captured ship: Maria Catherina (master Martin Jansen).

History: a Dutch merchant ship, bound from Marseilles to Ostend, laden with rice, currants, oil; taken on 12 July 1780 about seven Dutch miles from Majorca by the privateer Bee (Gabriel Tattavall commanding), and brought into Mahon.

Court papers: 1-3; Ship's papers: 4-12. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
