High Court of Admiralty.

Captured ship: St Antoine of Brest (master Francois Lucas).

History: a French coasting merchant ship (40 tons, 5 men), bound from Marennes to Brest, laden with wine.; taken on 16 March 1781 at 3 leagues SSW of Belle Île, France by the privateer Tartar (Hearne Lewis commanding), and brought into River Helford, Cornwall.

Court papers: 1-13; Ship's papers: 14-26. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
