Short title: Poynter v Christmas.

Plaintiffs: Thomas Poynter and three others, overseers of the poor of the parish of Whitchurch, Hampshire, and the churchwardens of Whitchurch, Christopher Hooker and others, churchwardens and overseers of Eling, Hampshire, and John Wheeler of parish of Fawley, Hampshire, for themselves and the inhabitants of the three parishes.

Defendants: William Christmas esq, an overseer of the will of Henry Audley of Holbury, Hampshire, esq, deceased and Cicely his wife, widow and executrix of the said Henry Audley.

Subject of decree: Execution of the will of Audeley (1606): payment of an annuity of £60 to the use of the poor of the three parishes out of lands bequeathed to his wife.
