Plaintiffs: William Hopton gent, one of the younger sons of Sir Owen Hopton deceased.

Defendants: Arthur Hopton esq, eldest son of Sir Owen Hopton and Owen Hopton gent,a son of Arthur Hopton.

Subject of decree: Possession of the manor of Langley Fitzures alias Langley Farm in Kington St Michael, Wiltshire, which the plaintiff claimed by an estate tail made by Sir Owen Hopton to the use of various of his sons and their heirs male.
