Description:
Copy of a French request for advance reparations deliveries given to Sir David Waley by Monsieur Rueff [in French]. The French authorities, in putting forward the items not included in Annex B, were not aware that it had already been recommended on a quadripartite basis that these items should not be included in the list of plants available for advance deliveries. Items not included in Annex B but on the French list are the factories Gutehoffnungshütte at Oberhausen, MAN at Augsburg, Wirth at Erkelenz and Farben Industrie at Ludwigshafen-Oppau. Communicated from Cabinet Offices on 19 October 1945.
