Prisoner name: William Daggs (or William Dagg). Prisoner age: Aged 17. Prisoner occupation: Coach smith and spring maker. Court and date of trial: Old Bailey, 28 November 1836. Crime: Larceny, stealing eight smelling bottles to the value of £2 2s 0d from the shop of the Prosecutor James Patterson, 57 Bishopsgate Street, [London]. Initial sentence: Seven years transportation. Gaoler's report: Character not known. Annotated: Nil. Petitioner(s): Father of prisoner, Abraham Dagg, and 15 others including the prosecutor. Grounds for clemency: The prisoner is young, this is his first offence and he is capable of reforming. Additional Information: The prisoner is on board Leviathan hulk.
