Gaoler's report: Bad character. Annotated: 'Mr Peel does not see any sufficient ground for detaining this man in England.' Petitioner(s): Thomas Morgan on behalf of the parish of Beaulieu in the New Forest, Hampshire. Grounds for clemency: Asks for him to be detained until after the next sessions so that he can be a witness in a parish appeal to be tried as to the legal settlement of his wife and six children who have become chargeable on the parish.
