Annotated: 'Ordered to the Lunatic Asylum for County of Lancaster 25 Aug 1831'.

Other papers: Letter from John Higgin (Keeper, Lancaster Castle Jail where the convicted was incarcerated). He encloses the convict's particulars, previously omitted, and requests that the convict be removed from jail to the asylum.
