Description:

Folios 238-239: John Ferrier, HMS Albion, Sheerness. Reporting that Captain Woodruff, having completed his complement from 17 able seamen volunteers from the Albion, as per their Lordships' command of 4 February, returned 6 of the men, together with 53 ordinary seamen and landmen. Asks if the Lapwing and Ambuscade's ships' companies are now to be completed from these supernumeraries, or whether he is to wait for men from the Diligence. Encloses letters from Captain Stuart and Lieutenant Price of the Ethalion.

Folios 240-241: enclosure with folios 238-239. Letter dated 8 February 1803 from Lieutenant Price to his captain, asking that his request to be superseded due to urgent business that requires his pecence at home be forwarded to their Lordships. Notes that he has been constantly employed throughout the war and since the peace.

Folios 242-243: enclosure with folios 238-239. Cover letter dated 8 February 1803 from Captain Stuart, forwarding Lt Price's letter.
