Physical description: 2 volume(s)
Administrative / biographical background:

The Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield Extension Railway Company was incorporated under the Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield Extension Railway Act of Incorporation of 1863.

After 1875, there appears to be no trace of the company and it seems that the railway was abandoned.

The last recorded board meeting was held on the 2nd November 1869, and the last shareholders' meeting on the1st March 1867 at which there was not a quorum.

In 1880, the London & North Western Railway Company built a railway over almost the same route.
