Euglr TANASESCU, alias, Eugler, Eugene: Romanian. Detected attempting to enter Palestine in 1941 with a radio transmitter, German codes and the British Order of Battle for the Middle East, TANASESCU was arrested and tried. His death sentence was commuted and he was transferred to prison in the UK and repatriated to Romania in 1945
