The Improving Data Visualisation for the Public Sector project (dataviz) is a site intended to support public sector researchers improve the way that they visualise data, by providing good practice examples and case studies, practical and step-by-step guides on how to visualise data, and links to more detailed resources. This is a joint project between the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and the Oxford Consultants for Social Inclusion (OCSI), a spin-out research consultancy from the Social Disadvantage Research Centre at the University of Oxford. Since launching in 2003, OCSI have worked with more than fifty public sector organisations at local, regional and national level to improve the evidence-base for making decisions. |
