Stephen Shipley Wilson joined the Public Record Office as an assistant keeper in November 1928. He transferred to the Ministry of Transport as an assistant principal in May 1929 and served subsequently in the Ministry of Supply and as Secretary of the Iron and Steel Corporation and the Iron and Steel Holding and Realization Company, before returning to the Public Record Office as Keeper in 1960. He retired in 1966. |
