Description:

This series contains photographic reproductions of documents not held by the Public Record Office which have either been presented, or made while the original documents were temporarily housed with the Department. The copies include diplomatic documents and correspondence mainly relating to Burgundy, 1360 to 1424, and Sweden, 1654 to 1661; maps and plans relating to the Crimean War, 1854 to 1855; and English royal letters preserved in the Soviet Central State Archive of Ancient Records, 1557 to 1655.

Also includes papers dated 1744-1745 relating to the Royal African Company of England: PRO 22/78
