| Description: |
Files on the planning of the development of the fuel and power industries, and the formulation of fuel policies. There are files on clean air policy and the possible extension of powers of the nationalised industries, as well as papers of the Energy Advisory Council. The PLN series was established in the Budgets and Priorities Division, and passed to the Economic Adviser when his branch was formed in 1951. It moved again to the Economics and Statistics Division on the formation of the Ministry of Power in 1957. After 1967 the PLN series ceased and files relating to fuel policy/planning were raised in the GEN series. This series contains RL files otherwise kept in POWE 55 |
