FILMCLUB is an education charity that helps schools set up film clubs and is free to state-funded schools in England and Wales. It is funded by the Department for Education and the Welsh Assembly. The organisation was founded in September 2006; following a successful pilot in 2007, the initial UK roll out started in April 2008 and FILMCLUB was then officially launched in June 2009.
