Medical and surgical journal of H.M hired convict ship Sea Park for 1 December 1853 to 21 April 1854 by Joseph Caldwell, Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed in conveying convicts from England to Fremantle, Western Australia.

Folio 4: Remarks about the treatment of 25 cases of rubeola.

Folio 5: Matthew Watts, aged 45, prisoner; case number 2; disease or hurt, contusio with old disease. Put on sick list, 1 February 1854 at sea. Discharged 7 April 1854 to the hospital at Fremantle.

Folio 5: Mrs Tubbs, aged 30, prisoner’s wife; case number 3; disease or hurt, inflamed breast (after bearing her child and 8 months pregnant). Put on sick list, 2 March 1854 at sea. Discharged ?

Folio 6: Steven Brown, aged 35, prisoner; case number 4; disease or hurt, rheumatism. Put on sick list, 3 March 1854 at sea. Discharged 10 March 1854.

Folios 6-7: Theodore Johnston a ‘black man’, aged 23, prisoner; case number 5; disease or hurt, catarrh. Put on sick list, 16 March 1854 at sea. Discharged to hospital.

Folio 7: Charles Kay, aged 30, prisoner; case number 6; disease or hurt, lues venerea. Put on sick list, 28 March 1854 at sea. Discharged to hospital.

Folio 7: George Walker, aged 34, prisoner; case number 7; disease or hurt, chronic opthalmia. Put on sick list, 28 March 1854 at sea. Discharged to hospital.
