Description: |
Cyril Hector Abraham WYBROW: British. An Intelligence Corps officer in Palestine during the British Mandate, WYBROW was the Jaffa Area Security Officer until 1943 when it was reported that he narrowly avoided court martial for financial irregularities. Back in Britain he was employed in the War Office’s Joint Intelligence Bureau (JIB) in 1946. In 1950 the Security Service learned that copies of classified reports from SIS had reached Israeli intelligence. Investigation concluded that WYBROW was the source. With photographs |
