Medical and surgical journal of Her Majesty's convict ship Blenheim for 12 March to 31 July 1850 by Charles Henry Fuller, Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed in a voyage from England to Hobart Town, Van Dieman's Land.

Folios 10-13: Jonathon Hancock, aged 14, convict; case number 2; disease or hurt, phthisis. Put on sick list, 17 April 1850. Died 13 July 1850.

Folios 13-15: Richard Peterwood, aged 2, son of a pensioner of the Guard; case number 3; disease or hurt, diarrhoea. Put on sick list, 19 April 1850. Died 6 May 1850.

Folio 30: A list of men who have received wounds or hurts, during the period of the journal. [No names recorded].

Folios 30-33: Surgeon's general remarks. Ship was in danger of going on shore on the Bolt Rocks, on the coast of Devonshire. Suggests that a half a pound of preserved carrot be issued and that preserved milk should be added to the list of medical comforts. Also records the average range of the thermometer with its maximum and minimum indications of temperature [in his cabin] during the voyage.
