Francis Herbert LOEFFLER and Sabine LOEFFLER nee KUCZYNSKI: British and German naturalized British. This split file deals with the sister and brother-in-law of the Russian spies Ursula BEURTON and Juergen KUCZYNSKI. Both LOEFFLERS were secret members of the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGB) using the alias KEELING, and Francis, a lawyer who read law at Downing College Cambridge 1937-1940, belonged to the CPGB Lawyers Group and was associated with the Haldane Society. Sabine attended numerous World Peace Council meetings as an interpreter, and was secretary of a 'Peace Committee' in her local area. In 1956 she was doing freelance work for TASS
