Vincent Stewart (or Stuart) DUNCAN-JONES: British. A journalist who was the son of a prominent (anti-communist) Church of England clergyman, DUNCAN-JONES joined the communist Party of Great Britain in 1937. He worked mainly in the 'Peace' field, being General Secretary of the British Peace committee 1950-1954 and in 1954 going to Vienna as a member of the Secretariat of the World Peace Council
