Description:

Robert BARTH, alias BRAUER: German. A communist sympathiser and a wireless operator in the Wehrmacht, BARTH allowed himself to be captured by the Russians on the Eastern Front in March 1942. Trained by them as a wireless agent, he was parachuted into Germany in August 1942 to join the Schulze-Boysen group but was captured by the Gestapo and his transmitter used in a playback operation
