Mansur Solat GASHGAI (1) / Mohamed Hussain Solat GASHGAI (2), aliases (1) Melek Mansour Solat QUASHGAI, Mansour Saulat QUASHGAI, Mansour Malek QUASHGAI (2) Mohamed Huseyin Solat QUASHGAI, Hussein Saulat QUASHGAI, Mohamed Hossin Salat GASHGAI: Persian. The GASHGAI brothers, Mansur and Hussain, left Persia in 1931 as refugees from the Shah's regime. They returned in 1944 having spent the intervening period in England (briefly) and Germany. While in Germany they became involved in German backed Persian Nationalist activity, aimed at overthrowing the Shah and establishing a German backed alternative regime, and were subject to Abwher cultivation |
