Albert Samuel INKPIN / Julia INKPIN: British. In 1917 INKPIN was General Secretary of the British Socialist Party, shortly afterwards to become the British Communist Party of which he remained Secretary through much of the 1920s. In the early 1930s he wasbased in Berlin as British representative of the Central Committee of the Friends of the Soviet Union. During the 1940s he was secretary to the Russia Today Society. He and his wife Julia were active Communists all their lives |
