Alexander RADO, aliases Sandor RADO; Ignati KOULICHER: Hungarian. Security Intelligence Middle East (SIME) material. Alexander RADO was the GRU Illegal Resident in Switzerland from 1936 to 1943, during which time he controlled the network which became well-known as the Rote Drei. In 1945 he was returned under a cloud to Moscow by the Russians via Cairo, where he tried to defect to the British. This supplementary volume contains papers dealing with this incident
