Edward Jeffery HAMM: British. HAMM was a long-standing member of the British Union of Fascists and Union Movement from 1935 and founded the League of Ex-Servicemen and Women in 1946. In 1940 he was detained under Defence Regulations in the Falkland Islands and South Africa. He was placed under restrictions on his return to the United Kingdom in 1941 and called to military service in 1941 but discharged for spreading propaganda in 1944
