August Frederick Franz KRAATZ, alias KREITZ: German. Recruited by the Abwehr in 1940, KRAATZ served in Germany, North-East France, Brussels and Lisbon before his Jewish descent was discovered and he was dismissed in February 1943. From October 1944 he was employed as a civilian on airport control in Windau, Latvia. He offered his services to the Allies in June 1945
