Peter KERRIGAN: British. Born in Glasgow, KERRIGAN was an active Communist in Scotland in the 1920s and 1930s. In 1927 he became a member of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Great Britain and held a variety of posts thereafter, culminating in that of National Organiser, which he became in 1943. He also served in Spain during the Spanish Civil War
