Alexander Feodorovitch KERENSKI, alias Miloutine MARKAVITCH: Russian. KERENSKI, a moderate socialist who was Prime Minister of Russia in the run-up to the October 1917 Revolution and struggled to maintain a coalition between the moderates and the Bolsheviks, was in the event unsuccessful and left the Soviet Union when the Bolsheviks took power. These papers relate to his activities and his travels thereafter, including to the UK, where he lived for a time both in London and Tunbridge Wells, and they include some copies of his correspondence
