Baer Joseph KOSPOTH: British/German. He was born in the UK of a German mother but lived in Germany 1914-1918, and on the continent in the inter-war years. He claimed German nationality during the First World War and again in 1940 when he worked as an interpreter and as a scriptwriter and broadcaster for German radio. He was not prosecuted on his return to the UK in 1945 but was warned as to his future conduct
