Reginald Arthur HUMPHRIES: a teacher in Germany at the outbreak of war, he was interned and made broadcasts from Germany from 1943 onwards under the names, 'Father DONOVAN' and 'JEFFRIES'. He was convicted in 1945 of aiding the enemy and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.
