Commissioner Richard Hughes, Portsmouth. Receipt of letter and warrant with instructions that the Officers from ships to be broken up or sold are to be discharged by ticket and to send an opinion on Dr Hale's proposition for preserving timber. The Anson and Nottingham have come into harbour and the money and conductor for Plymouth have been put aboard the St Albans, having been informed by Sir Edward Hawke that her captain had been ordered to receive it.
