Commissioner Richard Hughes, Portsmouth. Receipt of warrants and letters with the information that money for payments at this port will be sent as soon as possible, and instructions to receive the timber contracted for with Messrs Poor and Wallis, to refit the Scorpion sloop for Channel service, to receive cast iron ballast from Philip Sone and to fit out the Greenwich, when launched at Lepe and brought to this port, for sea. The packets for Rear Admiral Knowles and the Officers at Jamaica have been put aboard the Tilbury.
