Receipt of letters and warrants to supply the Dutch East India ship, the Polanen, with a boat and any other stores she may need, to register the new 50-gun ship, being built at Lepe by Mr Janverin, as the Greenwich, to load the boat and other items for Rear Admiral Forbes aboard the Winchester storeship when she arrives and to receive 2000 hammocks being sent by land from Deptford. Is sending a letter from James Spearing of Winchester with the information that John Smith, who is under contract to supply timber to the Navy, has been declared bankrupt [not now attached]. |
