Description: |
Philip Stephens. Were directed that the six seamen discharged in the East Indies and sent home in the Lioness East India ship, should be paid wages from the date of their discharge to the day they landed in England. Although it is not usual to allow invalids wages for the passage home, unless they are carried in King's ships, we propose all men sent home as invalids should be paid regardless of which ships they take passage in, provided no other allowance is made. |
