Description: |
John Henniker. Since he has the contract to supply New England masts, yards and bowsprits he has supplied nine loadings and expects 4 more this year. No more were possible because of the open winters in America and the want of snow. One summer there was drought which caused the undertakers for drawing masts to kill their cattle for food, which lost a whole year. Asks for more time to complete the contract |
