Content: Folios 87-88. Workhouse inspection report form from Robert Weale, Poor Law Inspector, reporting his inspection of the Wolstanton and Burslem Union Workhouse on 1 August 1848. It includes details of medical provision, management of the schools, the vagrant wards and the number of inmates. He comments that the school is in the same state as at his last visit on 5 May 1848, the schoolmaster is ill and the schoolmistress is attending a training school.
