Content: Folio 330. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to William Powell, Clerk to the Guardians of the Newport Pagnell Poor Law Union, informing him of the information received from the Charity Commission concerning the property in Bow Brickhill which it is proposed should be sold. There are three charities involved according to 27th Report of the Charities Commissioners and the guardians are informed of the land awarded under the Inclosure Act of 1790 and the amount of £10 10s being paid into churchwardens accounts also of the allotment of Black Ground being awarded to the rector churchwardens and overseers being possessed in trust for the use of the poor for firing. It also is stated that because of the lack of reference to the location of the property the Commission deem it necessary to enquire whether the property is subject to the charities noted or wholly independent of them.
