Content: Folios 29-30. Letter from Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, stating that following a meeting at Stoke Prior he has been requested by ratepayers to ask that an order be issued directing the board to appoint a competent person to act as assistant overseer at a salary of £20 per annum. Enclosed is an application signed by Joseph Jones, William Harris junior, Churchwardens, and Harcourt Aldham, Benjamin Smith, William Moore, William Harwood, Francis Marshall, [George Kettle] and G Nash, parishioners and ratepayers of Stoke Prior, to the board of guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, asking them to apply to the Poor Law Commission for an order to appoint an assistant overseer.
