Content: Folios 343-348. Letter from Harry White, Clerk to the Guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission enclosing two letters from the parish of Kelsale, which were omitted from his previous letter of 7 December 1836: Letter from Anthony Collett, Trustee of the Kelsale Trust Estates, to the board of guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union confirming that in the last 26 years, in each of the cases which has come before him, a full enquiry has been made of the parish officers as to whether advantage was taken of any gift from the Trust to diminish the weekly allowance from the rates and assurance given that their gift would be withdrawn where advantage was taken. Letter from Frances Skoulding, Overseer for the parish of Kelsale to the Guardians of the Blything Poor Law Union in which he assures the guardians that no relief given to the poor of the parish of Kelsale, by the trustees of the Charity Lands,has ever reduced the amount of aid given to the poor.
