Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to W and E Willoby [William Willoby and Edward Willoby], Clerks to the Guardians of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Union, acknowledging their letter of 28 January 1847. The Commissioners approve the appointment of Andrew Mallock as Treasurer of the Union, subject to his giving security as required by regulations, and they ask to be informed when this has been done.
