Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Charles Bond, Clerk to the Guardians of the Axminster Poor Law Union, referring to their letter of 29 October 1846 on the subject of the circular from the churchwardens calling for a meeting to help relieve the labouring classes and requesting a reply to their enquiries. The Commissioners also want to know about any applications for relief by able-bodied labourers since his letter of 22 October 1846. Paper Number: 12025/A/1846. Poor Law Union Number 76.
