Content: Folio 25. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to George Spencer Clerk to the Guardians of the Keighley Poor Law Union, thanking them for their letter about the two boys in the workhouse, Eli Smith and Watson Longbottom, who were the boys being employed in the local factory. The Board would like to be informed what the wages are for the children employed in the factories and to whom the wages are paid. Annotation: H B Farnall, [Poor Law Inspector] says that he would like to see the correspondence from the clerk when he answers the letter. Dated 23 May 1851.
