The report includes the following information: relief given as in-maintenance and out relief in the year ended Lady Day 1880 the number of occupants of the workhouse on the night before the visit, classified by age and gender. medical provision. the management of the school. the vagrant wards. numbers of insane pauper inmates. The report concludes that the workhouse is clean and in good order, though classification is imperfect owing to the construction of the house. |
