The report includes information on the following subjects: details of relief granted as in-maintenance and as out-relief in the year ended Lady Day 1879 the number of occupants n the night before the inspection, classified by age and gender. details of medical provision. management of the school. the vagrant wards. number of insane inmates. The report concludes that the workhouse is clean and in good order, though classification is imperfect. Annotated to send usual letter calling attention to the want of means of communication between [female] receiving wards and some offices of the workhouse. |
