Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to J R Tomlin [James Robinson Tomlin, Clerk to the Guardians of the Reeth Poor Law Union] acknowledging receipt of his letter of 9 August relating to the charges against the master of the Reeth union workhouse [William Hills]. They state that the board will assent to the wishes of the guardians and not remove the master from his office, providing that he is notified that any future misconduct will result in immediate removal.
