Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of Stealing a silver watch in a dwelling house at the Quarter Sessions at Nottingham, Nottinghamshire on 07 July 1851.

Then aged 13 years and by trade a Framework knitter.

Sentence: 7 years tranportation.

Licence granted 30 January 1857, for early release from Portsmouth prison.
